sofa choking hazard

RIGHT OK i brough a sofa from xxx a year ago. since then the reclin er has broke 3 times , a man came to fix it at all3 times. i had had enough and rung n explained i wasnt happy that it kept braking. so they arraged for me to pick another sofa in the price of the other one . the only sofa that was the same looking was 100pounds more. they said i had to pay 100pounds . even tho i couldnt afford it and i only had 2 weeks to pay, i was going to send a cheque. a few days after my 1half year old daughter nearly choked on a piece of very sharp metal that had come from the sofa. i called up and complained i sent an email with the picture of the metal. and all they said was that they would pay 50pounds towards the new sofa. i wasnt happy with that so they said if i still payed the 100pound then if they find a faulty with the sofa they will give me 100pound back but in vouchers. please i need help as i dont know what to do . i feel like im gettin ripped off
