BAD BEHAVOUR

BAD BEHAVOUR
I THINK THE YOUNG PEOPLE GET TOO MUCH FREEDOM, ALSO THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE, NOT EVEN THEMSELF`S. THEY SEEM TO THINK THEY CAN DO ANYTHING, AND NOT PAY A PRICE. BUT WE ALL HAVE TO PAY FOR OUR MISTAKES.

Bad Behaviour
I think that the younger generation today are far worse than we ever were, i'm oly 27 and i was no were near an angel when i was younger however i always had respect for adults and never done anything that would get me into serious trouble, i think that parents need to become a lot tougher with their kids these days
i agree. I think the problem
i agree. I think the problem is there are cgildren bringing up children and they have no morals to hand down to their kids because they havent learnt any. Also the human rights people and do gooders have taken away any authority that parents, teachers, and police had once and therefore there is no punishment for the children. The courts dont hand out sufficiant sentences, there is no deterent. When i was young my parents were very loving and provided me with attention and everything i needed, however i knew that if i was rude or disrespectful to anyone i would be punished and even smacked, oh no god forbid!! We need to stop these youngsters having children, and bringing them up with no goals in life most teenagers now have no asperations, no ambition but for when they next get their giro, it gives all the good teenagers a bad name and stops them from getting a break.
i have to partly agree with
i have to partly agree with what u say but im a young mum and i teach my children respect for everyone and would never allow them to run the streets!i also no a good few teenagers who want a life and have tryed to go to college and from there uni but have been told they can have no finacial help in bettering them selves so they cant win! they end up signing on and getting drunk as no one will give them a job with out expirence and good qaulifications!
shop your children?
When I saw that 93% of parents would shop their child to the police in your Poll, I thought...rubbish! The reason why there so many young thugs running amoke on our streets is, most parents don't give a dam where they are, or what they are up to! Even when the kids get caught breaking into houses or mugging some old lady in her home, many parents respond with, "Not my boy,he's a good boy". And that goes for the girls also! There are a lot of vicious young girls out there. Granted, there are a lot of nice young people out there. If we want a better society, then it's not only the parents who have to inform the police when a crime has been committed, the good decent youngster's have to do the same. This also applies to the police. If the police want respect from the public, then they also have to shop crooked police.
it did say 'serious crime'
I wouldn't think it right for parents to shop their children over unimportant matters or something that can be dealt with at home. serious crimes to me would include anything that harms any other people surrounding them, ie if they mugged somebody, murder, rape etc but i wouldn't go running to the cops if my child was merely defending themselves and marked somebody in the process!!! I do agree to some extent with what you are trying to say, there are many teens who run amok creating mayhem wherever they go but parents are not always responisble for the actions of their offspring. As a youngster, i knew children who took drugs and broke the law by stealing etc, they were ALL from good families whereas i myself was brought up in a broken home, my mother on benefits and i have turned out well, have a doting partner, 2 children and a well paid job. there are more bent coppers now than ever before!! now it's hard to know exactly who to trust anymore, i think the law needs to be far tougher and even more so on dodgy cops, they ought to serve double the time as they are meant to be pillars of the community!!! im rabbiting on lol sorry peeps :)

childrens behaviour
Its not always fair to blame the parents. Children can get away with so much nowadays because of all the laws bought out to protect them. I have 6 children 4 of which are step children yet if I was to smack a backside for example I would be called a bad parent. The rules on bringing up children are far to lenient. Yes national service should be bought back and so should the cane and the right to punish children if they have done something seriously wrong
national service
i think this is an excellent idea to have national service, it would teach the teenagers of today respect and values in life that their parents obviously havent passed on to them. All these knife weilding thugs that go around stabbing people, if you put a gun in their hand and sent them off to war they would **** themselves and wouldnt have a clue. They need tough boot camps, i think if they are caught carrying a knife they should be sent off to tough boot camps not luxuary prisons. And when the government say they cant afford them il tell you i know a few retired army people that would love to take these kids on free. we have got to put back some respect and disaplin back on our streets.
bad behaviour
totaly agree with this comment, the way some childre talk and act to there parents is disgusting. i wouldnt dare speak to my parents in a disrespectful way they brought me into the world.
