I'm wanting to get in touch with children of British Nuclear test veterans.
I myself am a veterans daughter aged 46 and I have been affected health wise by my fathers time on Christmas Island during the 1950's test's. My father passed away 10 years ago from bone cancer, possibly as a result of witnessing these nuclear bombs.
I know there are 1000's of Veterans children in Britain alone, but how to get in contact with them is difficult.
There is a small group of us who have got together to support each other, we have all gone though very similar experiences and all feel very let down by the MoD and the Government. Most of us are affected health wise and alot of the grandchildren are now showing signs of health issues too.
If you or someone you know is a veterans child, please contact me.
Regards
Shelly
