Not so funny after all
Sorry to be pedantic ladies, but to my knowledge the prefix MEN derives from the Latin "Mensis" meaning month or monthly. Gynaecology derives from the Greek stem word "Gunaik" meaning woman; and Hysterectomy derives from the word "Hustera", also Greek, meaning womb.
