Oh yes, I'd go like a shot! At the moment the economic climate prevents our move to Queensland because there is a high price to pay to the Australian government which entitles us to use Medicare plus the house prices there have increased whilst ours have either stood still or decreased and the exchange rate isn't as good as it was. So we're up against it just now and we really want to spend our retirement there in the sunshine. Also the atmosphere is totally different from here, more respect for people and property. We know our pension will not increase when and if we do manage to get there although why it doesn't is a mystery. We have paid just as those who retire in Europe and they get all the increases plus, even, a heating allowance! Family want us there, we want to go, we're in our 60's, the area we would love to be in is fresh, clean air, lots of shopping malls, places to eat, free car parking everywhere, toilets in every town village, park. You don't ask ARE there any toilets but WHERE are they? Oh well, just for now we'll dream on and live on hope.
