I am a student of highschool and i am 15, i think that its nice that healthy food has came in but i also think that it is unfair how the schools have taken out all of the food that they consider unhealthy! My school isn't that bad as they haven' taken out much- but other schools around my area are and i feel i should argue this for teenagers who dont want to speak out! Shouldnt teenagers have a choice what they want to eat?

Hi Sophie, You are so right
Hi Sophie, You are so right i really think this healthy eating is going OTT!!!!! I have a eight year old at primary school which is the first school when they are little. His first year was good he managed to get fish and chips, mince and tatties, soup and baked tattie ect. However now he has been taking in packed luches for months as he cant get all that now!!!!!!!!. My boys are healthy they eat there corn flakes and pure orange juice in the morning a healthy lunch and a big dinner with there main meal with tatties and veg and always a bit of fruit after dinner. The schools dinners dont have salt in them! have you ever had tatties ( sorry potatoes) without salt apparently salt is unhealthy!!! And it is drummed into the kids that sugur is bad. He wouldint eat my baking or even a bit of cake which we have after dinner now and then. It got that bad he was looking at what things were made of and if it had sugur he wouldint eat it, Yougurts, certain cheese dips it turned out he even went hungry. Is this wise??? Thankfully my son listened to me that everyone needs some part of sugur to survive. It took a few weeks but he got it at last!!!!!!!!!! He now eats a very balanced packed lunch sandwich, yogurt, fruit, chesse and or crisps/kitkat so what is the problem with that? i think the schools are making children so worried about what they are eating. Sounds familiar?
