Hi there, I've had my wee story published in issue 27, in the ~"Are't men daft" section. Didn't receive any notification that it had been accepted for publishing, so was just by chance I read that's life every week and saw it! Was also wondering how long after publication payment was issued? Thanks Lynne xx

Hi levitierney, Thanks for

Hi levitierney,

Thanks for getting in touch.

With the "Aren't Men Daft" section we receive a huge amount of reader contributions so it's impossible for us to inform everyone that their letter is being published.

I'm so glad you spotted it though and didn't miss it.

Publication fees are usually sent out 6 weeks after the publishing date - which for issue 27 was 1st July -  so you should probably receive your cheque around mid August.

Thanks again for query, I hope this helps.

Best wishes,
