I think that kids have the wrong idea of "adult" and "growing-up" and thus grow up with the bad connotations of growing up i.e. Being sexy, swearing, smoking, alcohol, etc. These kids need to realise that this isn't important. I'm noticing lots of girls younger than 14 in skimpy outfits etc and the media isn't helping that. It also doesn't help that retail is picking up on this trend and marketing products for them such as bras for 8 year olds in Tescos. I loved being a child and wish those years could have lasted longer - I've been exposed to some bad things (not intentionally nor my parents fault) but I never took any notice or influence from it. I think kids are too aware of themselves and should really go out and play rather than inside thriving off media.
