Totally agree with you.Recently come out of a long term relationship but cant get council house because i'm not classed as homeless.Because i have just sold a house i'm not priority,it doesn't matter that i had no choice due to securing a job in a different area.Its assummed i can buy another but at 51 how do i secure a mortgage of £40,000.I dont have time on my side,& shelf stackers dont earn big money.Hey,what the hell i'll just continue to pay for all the scroungers to sit in there council housing while i sleep on my park bench,after all i do have a job so i guess that makes me the lucky one eh.

I know what it's like having to apply for benefits. I've worked most of my life and when i had an accident 4 years ago i had to go on incapacity benefit.After a year doctors found that i had osteo arthritis in my knees which was traggered when i had the accident.Up to now it has spread to my hips,spine and wrists and i was registered disabled 2 years ago.I had to appeal when i was first denied DLA.Because of fraudsters applying for dla it takes alot more time and in depth checking to be granted any.Now i get full dla but still struggle to find out what i'm entitled to.I was also annoyed when i found out recently that my husband could of applied for the same dla when he had to have a kidney out due to cancer.Nobody was forthcoming with any information and he lost out on it.We also had no macmillion nurse and had to go through with this on our own.Because of benefit cheats those that need help don't get it unless they make loads of phone calls to find out.Ihate those that get it and theres nothing wrong with them.Have a heart and stop claiming when you don't need it then those that do don't have to struggle.But we all know thats not going to happen don't we.

My friends daughter married a very wealthy man she always worried about her appearance and when she told me she had decided to have her nose reshaped I was shocked it looked perfectly OK to me. She had the operation in a private clinic and two days later she went into a coma, apparently she was allergic to one of the drugs they had given her, she died a few days after and all for the sake of vanity. I don't think it was worth it she left two young children and her husband and parents were inconsolable. I am 62 now and have nine beautiful grandchildren I have watched my children grow into wonderful parents and I am so proud of them she will never have the opportunity to see her children become adults and have the joy that I have had. All the money in the world could not replace the love that I feel for my wonderful family.

totally agree anne, my husband and i work full time and have two children and any time we have asked for help when i couldnt work etc we got none cause we were not on benefits, why are working people penilised and people on benefits get everything free when they are better off than us. We cant afford to buy a house because we cant afford deposit once we have paid rent council tax bills etc but if your on benefits forget dental fees, doctors bills rent council tax the list goes on. Im in favour of the benefits system for those who need it but because of the scroungers the people that DO need it have so many forms to fill in. It took my disabled father years to get his benefit and yet immigrants get off the boat heres your giro and your council house. People who Can work need to get off their backsides and work!!
